A Message From Eddie + Amanda

We are so excited for the opportunity to celebrate our marriage with you, and we can't wait to see everyone! It means a lot to have everyone from near and far willing to be a part of our special day. Be sure to bring a smile and your dancing shoes!

The Party + A Place To Rest Your Head

The Wedding and Reception

The site for our 6pm wedding and reception is the beautiful property of Creekside Wedding Plantation. Bordering the majestic Wheeler Wildlife Refuge and Tennessee River, Creekside is a beautiful antebellum plantation estate on 18 acres. We hope you will love the views and atmosphere as we are surrounded by friends, nature, gorgeous gardens, a working vineyard, and beautiful horses.  Since the venue is outdoors, we recommend you dress with that in mind - the grass may not be the most friendly to your favorite stilettos.

After You Boogie All Night

After a night filled with laughter and fun we knew you would need somewhere great to rest your head and your dancing feet. We have reserved a block of rooms at the conveniently located Holiday Inn at a wonderful rate. If you are staying at the hotel, you have free shuttle rides to and from the wedding venue available to you. If you plan on utilizing the free shuttle to the wedding, please let the front desk know so they can place your name on the list. See the hotel details in our blog post along with information on how to book your room.

Our Unplugged Wedding

We want you to be able to really enjoy our wedding day, feeling truly present and in the moment with us. We've hired an amazing wedding photographer, Caught You On Camera, who will be capturing the way the wedding looks — and we're inviting each of you to sit back, relax, and just enjoy how the wedding feels. We're respectfully asking that everyone leave all cameras and cell phones off and put away. Of course, we're happy to share our professional wedding photos later, but the greatest gift you can give us is just being fully here with us in this sacred and special moment. You can read more about our unplugged wedding in the blog.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?
Our dress code is business-casual. Amanda prefers you do not wear a wedding dress, but if that is all you have, we prefer that over arriving naked.
How do I get there and where do I park?
Detailed directions are in the blog post about the venue. Once you arrive there will be parking attendants to show you where the free on-site parking is located. Those with mobility limitations can request a golf cart ride from their vehicle to the ceremony site.
When should I arrive?
The wedding ceremony begins at 6PM so we recommend arriving no later than 5:30 for parking in the closer lot. There will also be a ring warming opportunity before the beginning of the ceremony so if you would like to participate in that you might choose to arrive a bit earlier.
Wait, what is a ring warming and do I have to participate?
In short, the ring warming is an opportunity for our friends and family to pray over or provide well wishes over our rings and our future together before we exchange the rings during our vows. It will be available before the ceremony, and of course, is not required for you to participate, but we would love if you chose to say a quick prayer or well wish over our rings and for our future.
The reservation section says to only RSVP for those listed on the invitation. Why?
Well… here's the thing… because we have large, close families and we've made so many wonderful friends, we've had to be creative in making sure that we can fit everyone in our venue, and there really is no room for unexpected extras. So please only the people whose names appear on the invitation are asked to RSVP. Sorry, but as just mentioned, we have wonderful friends and families – we're certain you'll to have a great time!
What kind of food will be at the reception? What about alcohol?
We have amazing catering set to be provided by Ashley's Creative Catering. The food will be a "fiesta bar" theme - you can think of this as a even better, fancier version of Chipotle (emphasis on *even better*). There will be chicken, beef, and vegetarian options available. As far as a bar, we will have a bar with a few wine selections and beer selections. Please be willing to show your ID to the bartenders if you plan to drink.

How Will You Celebrate?

While we would love to invite the entire internet to our celebration, there won't be room for all of you so we ask that you kindly only RSVP for those listed on your invitation. For those of you who can not make it, you’ll be with us in spirit, and if we ever cross paths in the future we’d love to share a meal with you in a belated celebration.
